Flu and Covid-19 Vaccinations: Autumn/Winter 2024

This autumn, we will offer both the flu and COVID-19 booster vaccines at our surgery. You can receive both vaccines during a single appointment at one of our vaccination clinics, so only one visit is required

Even if you were vaccinated last year, it’s important to get vaccinated again. Viruses can change from year to year, and protection decreases over time. The best defence is to get your vaccine before the virus starts circulating. If you are eligible, please take advantage of this preventive measure to stay healthy and strong throughout the winter.

Vaccination clinics

Our vaccination clinics are planned for:

  • Thursday 3 October 2pm to 6pm
  • Friday 4 October 8.30am to 12.30pm
  • Saturday 5 October 8am to 12.30pm (for patients aged 65 and over)
  • Saturday 12 October 8am to 12.30pm (flu vaccine only for patients under 65)
  • Saturday 19 October 8am to 12.30pm (for patients aged 65 and over)

Booking your appointment

We will begin notifying eligible patients soon. You will receive booking information by SMS message, letter, email, a message via the NHS App, or a telephone call. If possible, please use the online booking information provided to schedule your appointment. If you're unable to book online, please call the surgery on 01536 518 886 after 10am.

Don’t forget, you can get both your flu and COVID-19 vaccines at the same appointment.
